BOARD OF DIRECTORS – VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

WIL Employment Connections (WIL) drives innovative employment solutions to bring immigrants and employers together. WIL is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing quality employment services and supports in London and area for over 35 years. Currently, WIL is recruiting for members of the WIL Board of Directors. WIL serves more than 1,000 clients annually. WIL’s clients come from all walks of life and circumstances. Over 90% of WIL clients are newcomers or immigrants to Canada. WIL is looking for new Board members who are interested in the work of the organization and will champion the mission, vision and values of WIL, feel strongly about making a commitment to our community and are interested in making a difference in the lives of others.

At this time, WIL is particularly looking for experience in the following skills: Strategic Planning, Public Relations and Government, however, all applicants will be considered. Previous experience serving on a Board of Directors is an asset, but not essential. Those with lived immigration experience are also encouraged to apply.
